Aileen A. DuPont *** U.S. Army/ Air Force *** WWII-Korean War.

 

Lieutenant Colonel Aileen Dupont retired from a career in the military that started during WWII as a 2nd Lieutenant Army Nurse with the 3rd Station Hospital in England during 1942. Later she was attached to the 103rd Evacuation Hospital in General Patton's 3rd Army in France and Germany. In 1949 as a Captain, she transferred into the USAF and was a Flight Nurse during the Korean War.
