Pete served aboard the U.S.S Leftwich, an Anti-Submarine
warfare ship. The photographs of the the U.S.S. Missouri,
BB-63, shows her test firing her 16" cannons in the
Indian Ocean, July 1989. This Battleship has the impressive
might of a cannon whose ability to pin point its 2100 lb. projectile,
(the weight of a VW Bug automobile.), 21 miles and is rivaled
only by that of the battleship the U.S.S. New Jersey, Iowa and
the Wisconsin. In addition, Pete also served in the U.S. Army (Feb.
1993-1996) with a tour in Kuwait just 12 miles
south of the Iraq border with 1rst Cavalry Division out of Fort
Hood, Texas.
