William J. Kelly *** U.S. Army *** WWII 1944-1946

 

Bill entered the Army on February 14, 1942 and received Infantry training in Camp Grant and Fort Devons. By September he was in Scotland, 3 months later he was in Paris as Military Police assigned to the Provost Marshall Detention Barracks where he checked incoming prisoners and other displaced individuals. He was discharged in May 1946 as a Staff Sargent.
