William Bakalyan *** U.S. Army *** Korea

 

Bill served with the 224th Regimental Combat Team, 40th Infantry Division as a rifleman, radio-communications operator and official unofficial photographer. During 1951, the 224th was part of the Army's occupational force in Japan where they were received extensive Combat Team training. His camera records this training which later they would use in North Korea during 1952.
