Ray
was a U.S. Marine Corporal and was trained in Explosive Ordnance
Disposal. He served in Vietnam at DaNang with the Marine Aircraft
Group II from October 1965 to October 1966. At this point of
the Vietnam War legacy DaNang wasn't much more than a water buffalo
field and everything was short in supply, including film and
camera's.
